Maria Dahvana Headley Visits the English Department

Maria Dahvana Headley, translator of Beowulf and author of The Mere Wife, visited the department on March 7th to speak with undergraduates enrolled in the Common Courses about Beowulf, translation, and who a story belongs to. It was a lively event, full of students asking good questions. A big thank you to English 20 and 97 instructors Sarah Dimick, Deidre Lynch, and especially Daniel Donoghue for making this possible.
