Harvard Alumna Molly Dektar's Story Featured in the Harvard Review
"Bed and Breakfast," a short story written by Molly Dektar about childhood and troubled parents, was featured in the sixtieth issue of the Harvard Review. Dektar was a former English concentrator and graduated from Harvard in 2012.
She attended Brooklyn College’s MFA program and is the recipient of the Dakin Fellowship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and theBrooklyn College Scholarship for Fiction. Her fiction has been published or is forthcoming in the Yale Review, N+1, Fence, the Harvard Review, the Sonora Review, and the Sewanee Review. The Ash Family (Simon and Schuster, 2019) is her first novel. Her second novel, TheAbsolutes, is forthcoming from Mariner on July 11, 2023.
