Vidyan Ravinthiran's Avidya Shortlisted for the Forward Prize 

Gardner Cowles Associate Professor of the Humanities Vidyan Ravinthiran's newest book of poetry, Avidya, has been shortlisted for the Forward Prize. "The Forward Prizes for Poetry are the most influential awards for new poetry in the UK and Ireland, honouring fresh voices alongside internationally established names." Learn more here. 

Avidya has also received a starred review from Publishers Weekly and has been reviewed by Calista McRae, Assistant Professor of English at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, for On the Seawall.
