Queer and trans writing, with major historical figures (Whitman, Wilde, Lorde) but a focus on what's happening now, how to understand it, how to feel at home in it, how to write about it, and how modern critics and scholars (Sedgwick, Serano, Muñoz, Awkward-Rich, and others) have done so, both inside and outside literary studies proper.
