Interests: Medieval English literature and literary culture; Latin literature; medieval Christian visionary writing; letters and epistolarity; women’s writing; fanfiction and fan communities; queer theory; gender and sexuality studies; race in medieval literature; children’s literature and medieval childhood; medievalism in popular culture from the 19th-21stcenturies; disciplinarity and the history of medieval studies.
