Harvard College Class of 2013! - 5. 31. 13

Yesterday, on a sunny Thursday morning, sixty-four English concentrators officially became Harvard University alumni. Here in the English Department, we celebrated the accomplishments and impending departure of our students at a lively “At Home.” Graduating concentrators came with their families and friends, speaking with faculty, staff, and fellow students about the last four years and their future plans.

We bid farewell and send many thanks to these sixty-four special students, all who shaped the English Department in his or her own way. Within this graduating class, we saw nineteen accomplished critical theses,  five of which won a prestigious Hoopes Prize, as well as ten impressive and unique creative theses.

We wish the Class of 2013 much continued success as they move on to a multitude of exciting new pursuits: Yale Law, the Walt Disney Company, Teach for America, and the Washington Post (to mention a few)!
