Joseph Y. Bae and Janice Lee Senior Lecturer on Fiction Claire Messud was one of seven American writers, including Rachel Kushner, Richard Powers and Percival Everett, on the longlist for the Booker Prize, “the world’s most influential prize for a single work of fiction.” The 13 books longlisted for the prize were chosen among 156 works of literature published between October 1, 2023 - September 30, 2024.
