Harvard College Class of 2017 - 6. 5. 17
Harvard College Class of 2017
On Thursday, May 25, 2017, fifty-two English concentrators graduated at Harvard’s 366th Commencement at Tercentenary Theater.
To celebrate the occasion, graduates and their families and friends joined faculty and staff “At Home” in the English Department.
The Class of 2017 was an impressive group that will be missed in the Department. Among the graduates there were two Thomas Temple Hoopes Prize winners (Cherline Bazile and Matthew Vegari), one Bowdoin Prize recipient (Emma Kantor), and seven Departmental Prize winners (Josh Ascherman, Gianna Cacciatore, Allegra Caldera, Robert Kim, Max Masudas-Farkas, Catherine Qin, and Matthew Vegari). Of the graduating class, thirty-four students submitted creative and critical theses back in March.
We wish the Class of 2017 much continued success as they move on to a multitude of future endeavors: masters programs, teaching high school, journalism, fellowships, marketing, publishing, and med school (to mention a few)!
