Harvard College Class of 2014! - 6. 12. 14

On May 27, we celebrated the accomplishments and impending departure of our students at a lively “At Home in the English Department.” Graduating concentrators came with their families and friends, speaking with faculty, staff, and fellow students about the last four years and their future plans.

We bid farewell and send many thanks to these forty-eight special students, all who shaped the English Department in his or her own way. Within this graduating class, we saw seventeen accomplished critical theses and twelve impressive and unique creative theses, five of which won a prestigious Hoopes Prize. Five of our graduating seniors were named to Phi Beta Kappa during their undergraduate tenure.

We wish the Class of 2014 much continued success as they move on to a multitude of exciting new pursuits: The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida, AmeriCorps, the Burger King Corporation, careers in teaching, theater, consulting, writing, and publishing (to mention a few)!
