On April 3rd, Professor Elaine Scarry, the Walter M. Cabot Professor of Aesthetics and the General Theory of Value, will present her latest book, Thermonuclear Monarchy: Choosing Between Democracy and Doom. Responses will be given by Professors Philip C. Bobbitt of Columbia Law School and Charles Fried of Harvard Law School.
This event takes place in the Tsai Auditorium in CGIS South, Room S010. Admission is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
