Conversation with Playwright Alfred Uhry

Assistant Professor of English Derek Miller will be leading a conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and screenwriter Alfred Uhry, on February 12 at 4pm, in Farkas Hall. Admission is free (tickets or RSVPs not required). This event is sponsored by the Learning from Performers Program at the Harvard Office of the Arts.
Alfred Uhry’s 1987 play “Driving Miss Daisy” won the Pulitzer Prize, and he later adapted it into an Academy Award-winning screenplay. Other notable plays include The Last Night of Ballyhoo (1996) and Parade (1998), for which he won Tony Awards.
