Mia Vitale - 10. 14. 16
Mia is a senior in Leverett House who is (aggressively) from Chicago, but lives in the Barker Center. Her interests include 20th century literature, creepy children’s literature (e.g. Roald Dahl & the Series of Unfortunate Events), and increasing the visibility of literature written by women and authors of color. She is also completing a secondary in Spanish. When she’s not hibernating outside of the Thompson Room, you can find her stage managing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club or debating which Shakespearean character she’d most like to be with Hyperion Shakespeare Company (Beatrice, at the moment – but she is most like Helena). She is currently writing a thesis on the use of food and clothing in girls’ institutions in literature and trying to take advantage of Widener more frequently. In her free time, she has a serious Netflix addiction, a love for home decor, and a passion for pizza.
